Embroider 4 repeats of the fern eyelet embroidery across the fabric 5 1/2" apart. Cut cracker width allowing 1/2" seam allowance on the sides. Cut cracker length allowing sufficient fabric for the length of the embroidery design + 1" (approx 5") on each end to turn in.

Cut cardboard, Timtex® or Stitch 'N Shape® 1" narrower than the distance between the eyelets and cut it the the full width of the cracker

Sew or serge the side seam and press.

Fold back the cuff making sure the raw edge is 1" below the eyelets. Press folded edge. Secure cuff down using Stitch Witchery®

Turn cracker right side out. Roll the stiffening and insert it through one end. Center stiffening in cracker

Thread ribbon through eyelets at each end. Tie bow at first end. Fill cracker with candy or small gift and tie second bow to close
